About Undiscovered Earth
Undiscovered Earth is the world we see for the first time each day. This is the world where in a desert, one grain of sand may not have been touched by a human foot, one craig or one peak may not yet have been climbed. Undiscovered Earth lives in my backyard, on the trails I hike every day where I hear an elk call, or a hawk dive. It is a world of beauty and a world forgotten by many.
Through my writing, I try to re-discover the world I looked at with wonder as a child. Finding new ways to describe a sky that has been written about by thousands of people but experienced for the first time by me is always a challenge and the combinations of words and ideas it spurs keeps me coming back, to nature and to my computer. My hope is to share the worlds I’ve seen and convey the inspiration and excitement that arises in me every time I step foot out the door for a new adventure.
